What's New In BGMI 4.6

The BGMI 4.6 update has rolled out, and this one is packed with supernatural action, returning fan-favourites and a big India-first addition. The new season goes live on September 16 and will keep dropping fresh content and events all the way through November.

Midnight Hunters Takes Over Erangel

The headline mode this season is Midnight Hunters, a supernatural theme experience running from September 16 to November 16. Erangel gets a dark makeover, with several locations turning into hotspots:

• Vampire Takeover points: Rozhok, Mylta, Quarry and Gatka
• Nightkeeper's Hunter Guild: Stalber and Sosnovka Military Base, which now features an indoor combat arena with challenges and hidden areas

There's plenty to do inside the mode, including Guild Missions, a Hunter Shooting Range, the Clock Tower and Scream Crates. You'll also run into Bloodwalkers, Nightbats, the Vampire Elder and the Nightkeeper during matches.

The standout mechanic is Bloodline Awakening. Eliminated players can come back as Vampires, and up to 20 Vampires can be active at the same time. They get abilities like Claw Strike, Absorb, Blood Sense and Blood Amberfication.

Themed items are also part of the mode, with the Silvermoon Chain, Twilight Bat Wings, Scarlet Tonic and Blood Pact offering different combat, movement, recovery and team-based functions.

Ocean Odyssey Returns To Erangel

Ocean Odyssey makes its comeback on September 30. The experience brings back the Ocean Palace, Trident, Kraken and the underwater exploration that players enjoyed in its earlier BGMI run. Since it runs alongside Midnight Hunters, you'll have two completely different themed experiences to jump between this season.

Kiaraa Brings India-First Diwali Content

BGMI 4.6 also introduces Kiaraa, an original in-game character IP created by KRAFTON India's in-house art team in India specifically for Indian players. She joins the game from October 8.

Her content is built around a Diwali-themed Indian Bazaar on Erangel, where players can activate four peacock-shaped lamps at the location to awaken Kiaraa.

KRAFTON India has rolled out the BGMI 4.6 update, and it is stacked with seasonal content, new game modes and a whole lot of Diwali flavour. Here is everything that has landed in the game.

Midnight Hunters Takes Over Erangel

The headline addition is Midnight Hunters, a supernatural-themed mode running on Erangel from September 16 to November 16. Rozhok, Mylta, Quarry and Gatka have become Vampire Takeover points, while Stalber and Sosnovka Military Base now host the Nightkeeper's Hunter Guild, an indoor combat arena packed with guild missions, scream crates, a clock tower and a refreshed shooting range.

The big mechanical twist is Bloodline Awakening, which lets up to 20 eliminated players come back as Vampires. Vampires get their own kit, including:

• Claw Strike
• Absorb
• Blood Sense
• Blood Amberfication

You also get themed traversal and combat gear like the Silvermoon Chain, Twilight Bat Wings for flight and detection, Scarlet Tonic for healing, and the Blood Pact link for squad synchronisation.

Ocean Odyssey Returns

Ocean Odyssey comes back alongside Midnight Hunters from September 30. The returning mode brings underwater points of interest back to Erangel, including the Ocean Palace, the Trident weapon and Kraken encounters.

Kiaraa Debuts With A Diwali Twist

Following earlier localised releases, KRAFTON India's internal art team has built Kiaraa, an original character debuting on October 8. Her arrival comes with an Indian Bazaar point of interest, a Diwali-themed market on Erangel. Activate four peacock-shaped lamps to trigger a co-op Boss Battle against Kiaraa.

Rewards tied to the Kiaraa Nakshatra Collection include:

• Divine Peacock Glider
• Divine Radiance SCAR-L
• Divine Chariot Buggy
• Arrow Rain Emote
• Divine Edge Machete

Diwali Prize Path

Running from October 22 to November 15, the update adds a dedicated 20-level progression path. Unlockables include the Revel 01 Set, the Diwali Gold Set, and licensed virtual variants of the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 and Bullet 350.

Collaborations And Creator Additions

The patch also brings in brand and creator tie-ins, headlined by a One Punch Man Mini Royale Pass, along with updated creator tools.

• Stalber and Sosnovka Military Base house the Nightkeeper's Hunter Guild

The mode brings Guild Missions, a Hunter Shooting Range, a Clock Tower and Scream Crates. You will also run into Bloodwalkers, Nightbats, the Vampire Elder and the Nightkeeper.

Ocean Odyssey is coming back to Erangel on September 30 after players kept asking for it. The mode brings the Ocean Palace, Trident, Kraken and underwater exploration. Old players get another run at it, while newer ones finally get to see one of BGMI's biggest swings away from standard battle royale.

Kiaraa And The Diwali Bazaar

Kiaraa, an original character IP built by KRAFTON India's in-house art team, enters BGMI on October 8. The character is tied to a new Diwali-themed Indian Bazaar on Erangel. Light the four peacock-shaped lamps at the Bazaar to awaken Kiaraa and step into a Boss Fight Zone.

Collabs And Creator Content

The One Punch Man collaboration kicks off September 21 with a Spin and a Mini Royale Pass. The Lincoln Motor Cruise event runs from September 16 onwards. Expect creator content to roll out alongside these drops through the update cycle.
