BGMI Kiaraa Update: Summon Diwali Boss On Erangel
BGMI Kiaraa arrives October 8 with a Diwali bazaar on Erangel. Here's how to find the four peacock lamps, summon the boss and claim Nakshatra rewards.
Krafton is bringing a full-on festive season to Battlegrounds Mobile India, and this time it's built specifically for Indian players. Kiaraa, the new in-house character, arrives in BGMI on October 8, tied directly to Diwali content. This is not a licensed celebrity collab - Kiaraa was developed by Krafton India for the local player base, which makes it one of the more localised seasonal rollouts for the battle royale.
BGMI Kiaraa Release Date And Event Schedule
The Kiaraa content unlocks from October 8. If you have already installed the BGMI 4.6 update that rolled out on September 16, you may still need to download extra in-game resources before the character and themed content show up. Krafton usually pushes seasonal assets through internal downloads after the main app update.
The India-specific Prize Path runs from October 22 to November 15, 2026, and is built around the festive window with 20 stages of progression. Expect themed rewards as you climb through it.
How To Summon Kiaraa On Erangel
Kiaraa shows up through a Diwali-themed bazaar added to Erangel. Here is what you need to do:
- Drop into Erangel and head to the Diwali-themed bazaar area.
- Locate four lamps placed in a courtyard in the shape of peacocks.
- Once the lamps are found, use the summon points to call Kiaraa.
- Fight the boss encounter to claim the associated rewards.
The fight itself is expected to lean on ranged attacks. Kiaraa uses a bow and arrows and can attack from above, so watch your vertical angles and keep cover in mind. It should feel different from the usual ground-level skirmishes on Erangel.
Kiaraa Nakshatra Collection Rewards
Krafton is packing a full themed set alongside the boss fight. The Kiaraa Nakshatra Collection includes:
- Kiaraa Nakshatra Set
- Divine Peacock Glider
- Divine Radiance SCAR-L
- Divine Chariot Buggy
- Arrow Rain Emote
- Divine Edge Machete
Why This Update Matters For Indian Players
The Kiaraa update goes past just dropping cosmetics into the store. It adds a dedicated gameplay space, a character encounter and challenges linked to Kiaraa, all wrapped around the Diwali season. For regular BGMI players, the Prize Path running through October and November gives a solid reason to keep logging in through the festive window.
