About the Compensator (AR)
The compensator is the muzzle attachment most players reach for on an assault rifle. It reduces both vertical and horizontal recoil, which keeps your spray on target for longer.
It does nothing to hide your shots — the gun stays as loud and bright as without it.
Where to find it
Floor loot. Attachments lie next to guns and ammo in buildings, with the best odds in military areas and large compounds. The rarer ones also turn up in airdrop crates.
