Muh Fathyn Zilhaq Syah, better known in the scene as Snape, said the team's progress through the preparation period has given the roster real belief. "The Ministry set a target of a silver medal for the PUBG Mobile division, but we are personally optimistic about getting gold," he said.

The confidence is backed by results. Indonesia locked its spot at the main event through the Road to Asian Games 2026 qualifiers, held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from June 19 to 21, 2026. The team finished second out of 23 teams, securing the Asian Games ticket in the process. Pakistan took first place in that final qualifying phase.
