About the Compensator (Snipers)
On a DMR the compensator keeps the sight steadier between rapid shots; on a bolt-action it helps you get back on target after each shot.
It does nothing to hide the shot, which on a long-range rifle can give your position away.
Where to find it
Floor loot. Attachments lie next to guns and ammo in buildings, with the best odds in military areas and large compounds. The rarer ones also turn up in airdrop crates.
